The selection needs to follow four major principles and focus on five major parameters: the rated current is 1.1-1.3 times the calculated value of the load; the voltage level matches the actual value of the line (common AC 400V/690V, Dc 250V/750V); the breaking capacity adapts to the system short-circuit current; the number of poles is selected according to the system type; the tripping characteristics correspond to the load (D characteristics are suitable for motors, K characteristics are suitable for semiconductors).
Special scenarios require targeted selection: special circuit breakers for photovoltaic DC systems; use in high-altitude areas (over 2,000 meters) with reduced capacity; and anti-corrosion models for corrosive environments. At the same time, standardize the installation, wiring and maintenance to avoid affecting the protection performance.
